Maza Events runs serious operations behind a single creative voice. We don't outsource execution to junior staff. We don't sell taste without capability. We don't take a job we can't deliver — and we deliver almost every job.

01 · What we are

Two arms, one standard.

A bespoke creative direction practice, and a serious hire catalogue. Both run with the same standard of taste and operations.

Bespoke event production. Concept-to-execution direction for weddings, corporate events, brand activations, and private parties. From £1,000 private dinners to £200,000+ galas. The same person leads each commission from brief to teardown — no handoff to junior staff between concept and the night itself.

The hire catalogue. Premium hire stock — chairs, tableware, linens, glassware — with transparent pricing and serious operations. Available to clients we direct events for, and to other producers, planners, and venues who need stock that arrives on time, in condition, and goes back the same way.

Both run with the same standard: taste over flash, operations over Instagram. You can hire from us without booking us for production. You can book us for production without using our hire stock. Most clients use both because both come from the same studio.

What makes us different

Operational depth. Most premium event brands are essentially solo creatives with good Instagram. They can do beautiful things at small scale. Maza is a real production company — warehouse, fleet, supplier network, run-of-show systems. We can deliver a 30-person dinner or a 600-person gala without the wheels coming off either one.

Last-minute capable. Most premium operators advertise long lead times because that's how they protect their schedule. We've built operations to handle compressed timelines — pop-up activations from 72 hours, corporate dinners from a week, weddings from eight weeks. We're not always cheaper for short-notice work, but we will deliver it.

UK and worldwide. No regional anchor. The studio works wherever the event is, with the right local supplier relationships everywhere we operate. We don't pretend to be everywhere — but we go where the work is.

One voice through the project. The person who walks the venue with you on day one is the person standing next to you when the doors open. No agency layering, no account managers, no creative-vs-delivery handoff.

02 · What we don't do

A short list of noes.

Worth being explicit. Some things we don't take on, regardless of fee.

  • Cliché-led design. No gold-everywhere weddings, no chair-cover-and-sash setups, no balloon arches as a design feature. We can do tasteful versions of those motifs when they're right for an event — but they're not our default vocabulary.
  • Subcontract-only commissions. If the brief is "you provide the chairs, someone else handles direction" — that's our hire arm, not our bespoke arm. We don't co-direct events with other producers. Too many cooks.
  • Events we can't insure. Public liability £5m, goods in transit £25k. If an event sits outside what our policies cover, we'd rather refer than take it on undercover.
  • Events that can't be done well. If the budget genuinely can't deliver what's being asked, we say so. Better to lose the brief than deliver something below standard with our name on it.
